It is decided by your existing gate, not by preference. A gate that rolls sideways along the boundary wall is a sliding gate; one that opens on hinges like a door is a swing gate. Each needs a different motor, mount and safety kit.

By what has to move and how often. For a gate that means weight, span and duty cycle — an undersized motor will work for a season and then fail on duty cycle. For a commercial door or a shutter it means the width of the opening and the traffic through it. We take the measurements during the free survey and size from those.

No. Our gate motors run on a standard 220V single-phase supply. A regular household or shop connection is enough.

Every OTODOR motor has a manual release, so the gate or door can be opened by hand in seconds — no tools and no technician. Battery backup is available where the gate is the only vehicle access.

Usually yes. The gate needs a true, level run and sound hinges or rollers; the survey confirms whether any civil work is needed before automation.

We install. Every entrance automation job includes a free site survey before anything is dispatched, a certified welder and technician on the day, and an on-site demo before we leave.

It depends on the system, and each product page carries its own wiring and civil-work checklist. In every case you will need a 220V single-phase point on a dedicated MCB with proper earthing, and the opening itself moving freely by hand before we arrive.
