Does the glass need to be cut or drilled?

Toughened glass cannot be cut after manufacture. Frameless doors normally need a factory cut-out; where none exists we fit a patch-fitting model that clamps the door edge. The survey establishes which applies before you buy.

Will it work on a framed glass door?

Yes — a framed glass door is fitted like a standard door, using the frame profile. Send us the profile width and we'll confirm the model.
